Located in the heart of 1,500 hectares of wild nature, punctuated by 14 private lakes and bordered by the Charlevoix mountains, the Domaine du Lac Brouillard embodies a large-scale project: to revive a traditional outfitter into a true four-season, eco-responsible and high-end resort.
Acquired in 2022 by two passionate young entrepreneurs, the outfitter has been transformed. The creation of the Auberge Boréale has made it a unique place that combines immersion in a natural environment and modern comfort.The result: a haven of peace where every detail is designed to offer a complete experience: from relaxation to discovery, from gastronomic pleasure to Nordic adventure.
A four-season and multi-activity tourist offer
The Domaine du Lac Brouillard offers an immersive and personalized experience all year round.
In winter: snowmobiling, ice fishing, snowshoeing, wildlife observation and relaxing at the Nordic spa.
In summer: hiking, observation of flora, nautical activities, sports fishing, swimming and discovering the local culinary heritage.
Each season reveals a different facet of authentic Quebec, in a refined, friendly atmosphere that is deeply rooted in nature.
Architecture inspired by Quebec heritage
Built of squared wood using modernized ancestral techniques, the Auberge Boréale pays tribute to the Quebec know-how of “solid wood”.
It embodies the spirit of the cabin in Canada in a contemporary and elegant version. The interior spaces, warm and refined, value local materials and regional crafts.
The inn's table celebrates local products through homemade, creative cuisine that respects the seasons.

A young, passionate and committed team
The project is led by a team of young professionals driven by a passion for the territory and sustainable tourism.
The two founders, aged 25 and 32, graduated from CEGEP de Saint-Félicien in natural environment techniques and from a renowned French business school.
Their team, composed of five employees under the age of 30, shares the same energy, the same authenticity and the same commitment to human and inspiring tourism.
